Please do not vote for healthcare plan as it stands right now with the Democrats. I prefer private market healthcare and especially no publicly funded abortions in any plan. I fear that the current option under review would just be adding to the current Medicare Mess. Things that encourage more general practice doctors and pediatricians to be open later hours and on weekends to drop the demand for high cost emergency room visits. How about requiring that patients who are given a terminal diagnosis receive some kind of counseling within 30 days of diagnosis that allows them to talk about their end-of-life wishes with a licensed person (w/legal witnessing authority). No more multi-million dollar Terri Shiavo cases on the taxpayers dime!!
